Virtual Tour – From Streamform to Arts and Crafts
12 March 2:00 pm
This virtual walk goes back historically in time, looking at architectural styles from between the wars on the North side of Hampstead Garden Suburb, starting at the Modernist East Finchley station (1939) and finishing with arts and crafts cottages from 1913-14. As well as admiring the architecture we discuss some of the people that the street names commemorate, many of whom relate to the Christian Socialist movement and the early Garden City Movement
