DESCRIPTION:On Tuesday 12 October at 2pm\, as part of Platforma 6and in partnership with Insiders/Outsiders\, Anna Nyburg\, design historian and author of The Clothes on our Backs: How Refugees from Nazism Revolutionised the British Fashion Trade will discuss the contribution of refugees\, primarily Jewish\, to the British textile\, fashion and design industries in the 1930s and beyond\, with a particular focus on those who settled and worked in Yorkshire.
